Christmas Trends 2025 by S’more
It’s crazy to think that the Christmas season is less than 8 months away!!! Good thing we’ve already gotten cracking on our plans for the holiday season. Yours truly has been scouring the markets and catalogs to find what’s the Christmas trends in 2025. Wanna see some of my favorites???
Shiny Brite and Retro
An old-fashioned Christmas is always on trend. When people think of old-fashioned Christmases, they think of two different time periods – old world of the 1800s and before in Europe or the retro looks of the mid-20th century. Both are wonderful. So, we decided to do both for Christmas 2025.
Here are the ornaments that inspired our mid-century look from the forties and fifties.

The shiny red and green stripes made us think of our ever-popular Shiny Brite ornaments. Gosh! I remember back in my day when Shiny Brite ornaments were NEW! I was young then.
So, we are planning to bedazzle our upside-down tree with these ornaments, Shiny Brite ornaments, bubble lights, silk string wrapped ball ornaments, peppermint, and the classic Coca-Cola Santa.
As it just so happens, Possible Dreams released several Santa figures with gold glitter star details just like the ones on the ornaments that inspired this tree. So, those are on order, too!
Very Vintage Belznickle

Belznickle (or Belznickel) is the traditional Saint Nicholas of Germany and that area of Europe. So, he is our inspiration for our vintage Christmas corner of the 1800s and earlier.
A couple of years ago, Mrs. C. decorated a tree in a customer’s home. The lady of the house explained that she wanted lime green on her tree, but not whimsical lime green, pretty lime green. That is exactly what this tree is aiming to capture. It will be bedecked in classic reds and lime greens, but with lots of gold glitter and old-fashioned details like velvet poinsettias, berries, cardinals, and reindeer.
Wintergreen Woodland Theme

Speaking of lime green, all sorts of shades of green are in our Christmas trends for 2025. This last year, everyone loved our Enchanted Forest Garland over our register last year. So, we wanted to bring another type of fantasy look.
We think you’ll love all the merry forest animals dressed in winter knit sweaters, scarves, and hats.
A Savior Is Born Nativity Tree

Blue and burgundy is a Christmas trend that has come back in recent years. So, we decided to do a classic Nativity themed corner, especially when we found a new company with beautiful inspirational ball ornaments.
This picture above is taken from a company we didn’t order from, but we liked the overall color scheme for an inspirational tree. We think it will look lovely next to most of our nativity scenes.
Deep Sea Turtle

We had a very specific request from customer – a turtle tree. Every year we do a beach themed tree. We fell in love with this beautiful, dark blue tree with pops of gold and white and thought it would look great with turtles and other sea creatures.
Love You to the Moon and Back

Don’t you just love this tree?!? When we posted our finds on Facebook, this tree got the most compliments!
Pinks and golds and turquoise blues with mermaids and ballerinas and plushy stuffed animals make this tree the perfect way to say “love you to the moon and back” to a new baby.
Fiesta Foods

These bedazzled and blingy fabric ornaments were AMAZING! So, of course, we decided to do a whole tree covered in them. We’re calling it our Fiesta Food Booth Tree because it’s all the foods you would find at Fiesta or any other fair. You’ll find all our Fiesta inspired decorations in this corner when we get it up.
Texan Christmas
Texas is always on trend around here, but we recently discovered a new line of Christmas ornaments. This year they were inspired by the elusive pink bluebonnet. So, we are following the trend, too!

We think you will love these pretty pink, blue, coral, and turquoise ornaments on our silver tinsel tree. Get ready to rodeo because a country girl is going to love this look trending for Christmas 2025.
Complete Peace Nativity Tree

Doves are back on trend for Christmas 2025. I don’t know if you noticed, but we have two trees each year that focus on Santa and two trees each year that focus on the nativity (and two that focus on food).
For 2025, we will do a simple gold and white tree inspired by this dove ornament that may not arrive. That’s okay, though! There will be feather doves and white feathers with gold.
It’s going to look stunning in your home and next to our Willow Tree figures.
Ginger Grace Christmas Kitchen
This is the tree I am MOST excited about for Christmas 2025. I wouldn’t call it a trend because I couldn’t find it anywhere. So…. we’re designing our own Christmas ornaments for the first time EVER!
I gotta show you a photo though to give you an idea.

Mrs. C. thought up the idea of a of a gingerbread nativity tree about five years ago. Almost everyone loves gingerbread. Almost everyone wants to keep the birth of Jesus central to their decorations. It seems like everyone would be doing this, but NO ONE DOES!
We looked. We politely suggested. No one did it. So, last year in the fall, a 3D printing company in San Antonio suggested we partner up, and IT’S ON, PEOPLE!
We are creating a ginger and white themed look for our kitchen window with a nativity, a nativity ornament, angels, sheep, cookie cutters, and all the sweet goodness of our Lord Jesus. Can I get a hallelujah?
I hope you are just as excited as I am about the sweet possibilities for the Christmas trends of 2025. “Celebrate Always” this holiday season. (I Thessalonians 5:16)
Merry Christmas,
S’more
