Unboxing the New Arrivals with S’more the Elf –
You won’t believe it!!! Christmas is HERE! The pallets have been arriving, and they are chock full of holiday awesomeness!!! Wanna help me unpack?
Cool! Where should we start? Ehhh… let’s pick this box.
Department 56 Arrivals
While a few of our exciting Department 56 pieces started trickling in over the past couple of months, we have been expecting a big shipment to arrive in June. SURPRISE! It showed up this week!
Well, we were making big plans to move some stuff around to make s’more room for our expanded Christmas villages this year, but this caught us off guard. We’ll be putting out as much as we can, but some of our Fall village pieces may be hanging out in the office until after we have repainted a couple shelves and moved this here and that there…. So, you know, this weekend. Hopefully.
If you are too excited to wait for our new display to be revealed, just ask us about the pieces hidden in our office. Give us a wink, wink. It’s like a secret code.
What we’re most excited about:
- Harvest Village Oktoberfest Beer Garden – just in time for Das Festival of Kendall
- Mary Poppins Arrives (and 17 Cherry Tree Lane)
- Full Moon Lit Backdrop – back by popular demand
- Sized for Surprise! – Giant Skeleton yard art is all the rage! Now you can have one in your Halloween village display
- Dickens Village Bear Exhibit – because the Dickens Village Zoological Gardens is everything!
We’ll be adding all these pieces to our online store just as soon as possible.
Old World Christmas Ornaments
In case you didn’t notice that big pallet we got this week was entirely from Old World Christmas, and it’s our first shipment of the year. So, it’s full of the most glittery awesomeness EVER! If we elves don’t have glitter in our veins, we will by the end of the week.
By the way, anyone want to buy a pallet for a project? We have about six of them. Just swing by and ask if you are interested.
What we’re most excited about:
- Hostess Donettes – foodie ornaments make me happy
- Bucket of Kentucky Fried Chicken – there’s a whole Christmas story about this one!
- “Lasso the Moon” – as in the classic movie It’s a Wonderful Life! They made an ornament for it!
- Lemonade Stand – d’oh! We were hoping it would get here before Lemonade Day.
- VHS Tape – yes, they make an ornament for that!
- Peppa Pig – yes, it’s a blown glass Peppa Pig. Oh! And, we have new resin Bluey and Bingo ornaments, too!
I only got a quick peek before I started typing this.
We’ve just barely started opening these boxes. So, it may take us a couple weeks to get them into our online store.
